Ask about the specific equipment
A wider cabin and an ADA-designated unit are not interchangeable descriptions. Ask for the dimensions and features of the unit proposed for your booking, including entrance, door operation, interior manoeuvring space and supports. Confirm its suitability with the person responsible for your event or property.
Do not rely on a website illustration as a specification. The model actually supplied should be agreed, and any additional requirements raised before delivery. Family assistance and mobility access may involve different practical needs.
Review the route to the door
Consider the surface from the arrival point to the restroom. Loose gravel, grass, a steep change in level or a narrow opening can undermine a useful cabin. Describe those conditions and the space available for the door and queue.
A clear route must remain clear during the rental. Tables, parked vehicles and temporary cabling can create new obstacles after setup. Put someone in charge of maintaining access, including during busy arrival and departure periods.
Connect toilets, washing and event decisions
Handwashing should be considered with the same attention to reach and approach. If several restroom locations are planned, explain how people will find the accessible facilities without a long detour. Clear directions are more useful than an unmarked unit at the edge of a site.
The enquiry can identify equipment options, but it does not certify legal compliance for a whole venue. Confirm the complete arrangement, quantities and any official requirements with the appropriate organiser or authority before treating the plan as final.
